Education has always been a vital component of my life. I take learning seriously, but learning took on greater importance during my high school years. I went to a private school that exposed students to array of career pursuits, including biomedical sciences and engineering. I attended UW - Milwaukee for my bachelor's degree in linguistics. I was also certified in Middle Eastern and North African studies, and I earned an Arabic minor. As an undergraduate, I began tutoring on campus, and I realized how much I liked it. I enjoy helping students develop mastery of the subject to achieve success. I also like to help my students develop organization and study skills, which are valuable throughout the student's academic and professional careers. I'm currently attending the University of Chicago for a graduate degree in Middle Eastern studies. In my free time, I like to travel, try new foods, read listen to music, and learn languages and cultures.
